Victorian Fashion | Book Design
This book takes a slightly contemporary approach to Victorian fashion, featuring excerpts from an 1867 edition of Harper's Bazaar. The book features images from 19th century women's magazines, called fashion plates, with a magenta spot colour. It is composed of several paper stocks, in addition to rayon which has been printed with the same floral pattern on the cover and featured in the spreads. The paper stock, in addition to the old-style typeface and left-justified typesetting have come together to create a vintage, Victorian inspired piece.
